‘n Doop om Stilte is a psychological drama that follows Joshua, a Grade 8 student, through an evening of initiation at a new all-boys high school. As the evening progresses Joshua is not only confronted by physical challenges, but forced to discover who he is and what he is willing to fight for. The film premiered at the KykNET Silwerskerm Film Festival in 2023 and was awarded Best Short Film and Best Director.
